Cathrine Gyldensted (1973) is a journalist and author. She has published one book on constructive journalism and co-authored two in Danish. Her other books have covered US politics, innovation and media critique.

Her From Mirrors To Movers is the first book to introduce how positive psychology can help innovate news journalism and news reporting, into more constructive forms. The Danish edition of From Mirrors to Movers is used as textbook material at several Scandinavian Journalism Schools and continued education institutions. Gyldensted served as the worlds first Director of Constructive Journalism at Windesheim University, (2015 - 2017).

Gyldensted has travelled extensively throughout Scandinavia, EU and the US teaching workshops and speaking at international media conferences. Her work has been featured in The Guardian, Huffington Post, TEDxDresden, and by World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers/WAN IFRA.

Between 2000 and 2011, Gyldensted served as an investigative reporter, news reporter, radio anchor and executive producer at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation and at Radio24syv. Cathrine majored in Radio & Foreign Affairs at the Danish School of Journalism in Aarhus and holds a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University Of Pennsylvania.
